How can we integrate efforts and overcome barriers to make homes healthy, safe, and energy efficient?

The National Dialogue on Green and Healthy Homes is Now Closed.

Thank you for participating in the National Dialogue on Green and Healthy Homes. Over the past two weeks, more than one thousand people from across the country came together, sharing 100 ideas and submitting 375 comments. The feedback they generated in this Dialogue will help improve projects already underway and shape future policies and programs.

…But Our Conversation does not end here

The Green and Healthy Homes Initiative, on behalf of the larger Green and Healthy Homes movement, is committed to keeping the conversation going as we move toward the National Conference on Healthy Homes in Denver this upcoming June. This Dialogue demonstrated that there is a great deal of interest among the various green and healthy home stakeholders and we will continue to look for opportunities that allow us to collaborate further as we work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our programs. In the coming months, GHHI anticipates establishing a permanent forum for conversation and sharing resources among this community. We plan to contact those participants who registered to get their input into the construction of this platform. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue the conversation through the GHHI Facebook page and by following us on Twitter (@HealthyHousing), where the collaborative workspace will be announced once it is completed.

All individuals who registered for the Dialogue will receive a copy of the final National Academy report once it is finished in late February. Additionally, the report will be posted on the GHHI Website at www.greenandhealthyhomes.org as well as www.leadsafe.org and hopefully on www.HUD.gov/lead.
